In which the signs of change are unmistakable

My hotel in Rochester is in a rural area on south side of the metro. My room happily overlooks an empty field, part of which seems to be wetland. Besides being very colorful with the changing leaves and purple asters, I have noticed that there seems to be quite a bit of wildlife over there.

At dusk last night, I noticed that the deer are in rut - there were a couple of sparring males and a half-dozen others lingering about.

It's fall.
